Khairul Aiman, The Bass Master

Acknowledging great musicians has always been Irma's number one mission on getting great names out there to the world. One of her long time choice of bassist is Khairul Aiman Radzi, the bass master from Malaysia. They met in Boston when both of them were studying in Berklee College of Music. They managed to work together for a couple of great projects. In fact, Irma also featured Aiman in one of her tracks from her debut album (Track: My World Reprise).

"Aiman is such a great bassist with a very incredible musicianship. It is always a pleasure to work with him or even just to watch him perform. I spent a lot of my spare time in New York City, going for many of his shows performing with Chris Lee, Ayoinmotion, The Saturators and many more. Aiman is such a great performer who engages with the music, musicians and the audiences. That is something rare to find watching a bass player as they tend to just keep it low at the back and just play their instrument. But not in this case. Aiman is always engaging and very skillful. New York is such a great place for Aiman but I believe he deserves to go worldwide with his enormous talent," said Irma.

Aiman has worked with Irma in a lot of projects and shows and one of it was a video cover of "Treasure" by Bruno Mars that was musically rearranged for Korean The Voice winner, Sonnet Son. Also Aiman has played for Irma's shows in the Nuyorican Poets Club, Silvana, The Bee (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and many more.

Don't forget to check out Irma's album "My World" to hear a little bit of the bass master, Aiman walking on that bass!
